HELP SAVE TASMANIA'S FORESTS

Tasmania is home to some of the most incredible temperate forests in the world, including the Earth’s oldest and tallest hardwood trees. Unfortunately, logging giant Gunns Ltd. clear-cuts the equivalent of 44 football fields of these precious and irreplaceable forests every day!. Unbelievably, after clear-cutting the area, Gunns then bombs it with napalm. Really. NAPALM. Fire from the sky. Finally, Gunns uses carrots laced with 1080 – a devastating poison – to kill any remaining wildlife that might interfere with their plantation farms.

Where once awesome trees formed pillars for a dense and vibrant forest ecosystem, what remains are barren landscapes reminiscent of a devastated battlefield. And there’s much more to come if we don’t put a stop to it…

What Tasmania has now is a natural wonder. And what we’ve already lost to unmitigated corporate greed cannot be replaced in our lifetime…or our children’s.
